Hello! Welcome to the enchanted world of the Mystical Mermaid in Beatiful Friday Harbor Washington!   For as long as there have been notions of oceans- There have existed the notions of Mermaids as Well.  The archipelago of theThe San Juan Islands have always been known for their beauty-They have been as much as a siren song for boaters and water babies as are mermaids.   From the Dawn of Time, From Friday Harbor to Roche Harbor, in the inner Bays and by the Outer Islands mermaids have been dreamt of,  sighted,  and pursued - ( we must admit there were probably adult beverages involved more often  than not...  )- by Boat, Kayak, Canoe and the occasional lost hiker (We have Lakes!)  Fishermen, Yachties, Sailors and Scamps have all had dreams of catching their very own Beautiful Mystical  Mermaid -  Likewise had we -  until In 1995, We actually, finally caught one. It was an incredible experience and we hope to help others catch theirs too. 

 

  We  have a beautiful store that we hope will showcase  the beauty of the Mermaid, the Sea,  and the world as we know it.   We feel we have the perfect fit!   Magic abounds here, we hope you can find it too. Speaking of finding us, we are on the main drag (Spring St.) 1 block up from the ferry landing on the left.  We are pretty easy to find.   Trying to find things on our online store is stlll another matter...

 

Well, we Were hard at work building and updating  our site, but then our busy season hit    And, our webmaster wandered off--  so there we were- kind of stuck at the gate.    If you have visited us before and actually came back, Thank you Thank you Thank you.  We are back to moving forward now,   We have a new Webmaster  (moi)  and it appears this whole thing needs a make over -  even though we were just getting it started, so, if something disappears, (or we do.....) it means we're trying to get coherent (haha!) try to stay tuned for lots of changes to come and if you need help with anything do not hesitate to call us at the real store;    Rick, Wendy or Sarah @360-378-2617.  We have the coolest gift shop in the islands and we have no doubt we can get this rockin on, too even though  We Are slightly technically challenged :)
